Advanced Script Host (engine.exe) will help you run scripts from Windows. If you have installed Advanced Script Host you may have the graphic user interface and you enjoy all others hosts. Engine.exe provides a dialog window for accessing from script.
Whether you use WScript.exe or Engine.exe, you still run the scripts in the same manner. The difference is only in the object model. You can use methods and properties objects: Window, TCPIP, System, Plugins. The additional Advanced Script Host has registered file extension : .w_js and .w_vbs.
You will use the extension .w_js(JScript) or .w_vbs(VBScript) for advanced scripts. To run a script using the advanced engine: Double clck the script (.w_js or .w_vbs) in Windows Explorer or on the desktop. Click Start, select Run, and enter the command line: engine.exe script.[js|vbs|w_js|w_vbs].
