Database management also includes tending to scenarios in which data loss or data corruption might occur. To that end, users can either resort to defining a structured backup scheme for their database files or, in case things do become eventful, rely on certain techniques or specialized software for either repairing or restoring the aforementioned data. One such dedicated software, DRS SQLite Database Recovery addresses the issue of data recovery for SQLite databases and it will allow users to preview the internal structure of the database and perform a selective restore process.
The application will allow users to add single SQLite database files, and it will support different types, with different encodings. This offers a small degree of flexibility when it comes to the data input capabilities.
However, in the processing department, we were not pleased to see that there is no batch processing available, and although this might not be such a major gripe, it might mean that users with large volumes of data will have to go through iterative passes for their databases.
Having added their preferred database files to the processing queue, users will then be able to actually preview the internal tree structure, and thanks to the included tick box selector tool, make the appropriate selection for their requirements.
This will allow for very precise and efficient processing, as they will be able to avoid processing unwanted objects or tables and therefore achieve a more efficient workflow.
Although simple and without any special features, this software does manage to provide concise, straight-to-the-point recovery capabilities for SQLite database files that have either been deleted or are corrupted.
