Working with PDFs is meant to be a worry-free experience, but it's worth mentioning that the tools you're working with can have quite a big say in this matter. For an efficient workflow, it'd be nice to have a software to view PDFs in, as well as be able to manipulate them accordingly, without having to resort to a separate solution.
Geekersoft PDF Editor is a program that is just as easy to understand as it is to use: it's designed to be your one-stop solution for PDF needs, so any PDF-related workloads should be handled just fine here. Anything from viewing, to editing, splitting, and combining documents is fair game.
Owing to a rather intuitive interface design, the program should be easy to pilot for all types of users. You can start off by dropping your documents in, or you can go right ahead and use one of the options under Common Tools, which provides quick access to commonly utilized functions.
Add your PDF in, and you'll be to manipulate it in several ways. You can modify the existing text, add new paragraphs, annotate certain passages, add a watermark, and sign the document before exporting it. You can annotate via text, but adding shapes and symbols is also possible.
Want to fuse two documents together? You can do that through the Combine PDF function. If it's the other way around, you can split a larger PDF into smaller copies. Converting into Word is possible.
There's a Text Recognition feature under the Tools menu, which is supposed to scan text from images, and automatically create a document with the recognized text. For some reason, the function does not work when an image with text is involved, which defeats the purpose.
All in all, Geekersoft PDF Editor is quite a solid choice for a PDF editor. It's got plenty of functions to make life easier, and it's generally very easy to use, despite the OCR feature being rather spotty.
