Managing a company with numerous employees means that you might need to resort to a dedicated software solution to efficiently track all their shifts.
Give'em a Break is one such solution, meant to simplify the task of assigning your personnel customized shifts and break times.
It goes without saying that you first need to take the time to manually add all your employees' names and positions to the database, then enter the beginning times for their first break, lunch break, and last break. The duration of each break can be adjusted as well.
Luckily, once you enter all the data, you have the possibility to start an automatic check and make sure there are no errors within your configuration.
Also, not only can you choose the type of shift you are interested in, you can also create custom shifts, the backup, restore or import shift schedulers.
If you want to keep track of the current shift status, Give'em a Break allows you to generate and save as TXT several types of reports.
More specifically, you can explore the work status, work schedule, off work, job positions or the workweek of your employees in dedicated reports. You can also personalize them with the company's title, address or phone number, along with the names and contact details of various administration members.
If you want to send the generated reports via email, you first need to setup the outgoing SMTP server details.
In a nutshell, Give'em a Break can help you keep track of all the shift schedulers for your employees, as well as get timely notifications and reminders before each break actually begins.
