While all details are important when designing a website that converts, the font is an element completely overlook. Since fonts have the power to make or break the user experience, it is understandable that selecting the right one can be a daunting task.
Monotype is a lightweight application that enables you to browse you favorite font websites and find the perfect one to add to your website or blog.
First off, you should know that you should have at least an account to any of the associated or partner websites. Once you log in with your account, it is automatically linked with the app, so you can start browsing, exploring, downloading and installing the fonts you actually like.
In case you do not have an account to the partner websites, then you can create one easily from within the application.
You can preview all free fonts that you download and activate in the default folder on your computer. However, the trial and subscription fonts are kept hidden on your local drives and are removed automatically once the subscription or trial ended.
It is necessary to mention that the interface of the application is resizeable and that it gets elongated as you add more fonts. Nevertheless, the program comes with a neat search function that allows you to search for items by typing a keyword or relevant phrase.
Alternatively, you can rely on the Date Installed function and look for fonts that you downloaded on a certain date and from a specific service.
On a side note, the utility does not excel in terms of options or configuration. In fact, you can only specify if you want to receive notifications when fonts are installed, when they expire, turn off warnings when deleting a font and whether you want the app to open at system startup.
If you are looking to improve your website and want to make sure you provide the best user experience, then Monotype Crack can give you a hand with finding an appealing font for your audience.
