OrgChart JS is a widget designed to help you create interactive flow charts into your HTML, JavaScript or CSS pages. The charts are highly scalable and customizable, so developers can come up with a unique appearance via the numerous color palettes and skins that are embedded or obtained from other sources.
Scalable in this case means that the chart can be crafted large enough to fit in all the members of the organization. To make things easier for the visitors, a search field can be added, so they can find a particular item or person. Depending on your final goal, you can include scrolling and zooming features, particularly if you plan to add a description for instance.
It is worth mentioning that the customization is possible via the nodes that can be edited as required. To put it simply, you can add as many items as you want and remove or edit them according to the changes in the organizational structure. While you may be tempted to think this requires a lot of time to create, in reality setting up a diagram item is a simple process of specifying the name, title and any other relevant data. The widget can build the chart automatically based on this basic information.
