Stunnix Advanced Web Server for CDROM and USB media is created to allow you to take any site that uses the most common programming languages and databases and save it to a CD/DVD-ROM or USB.
Besides saving them to that media, you may also run the webpage from it using this same program.
Stunnix Advanced Web Server currently supports websites that use Perl, mod_perl, PHP (php4 and php5), Tomcat (Java), Python (mod_python) for scripting and Firebird, MySQL or SQLite databases which can be run off of a CD.
Once you insert the CD into the tray, it will run the web server itself, MySQL, or a Firebird database server and PHP, Perl, Python, and Java. It will read the data off of the removable media and instantly open a browser window with the site in it.
One thing worth mentioning is that to run the website off of the removable media, you do not need to have an Internet connection or run any setup process. All you have to do is open the CD.
Stunnix Advanced Web Server-powered websites bypass WIndow Firewall with the use of a feature called HTTP over named pipes.
Using this feature, the app listens, and web browser goes unnoticed and unaffected by firewalls.
