TAdvAlertWindow is a useful development component that enables developers to add customizable Outlook 2003 and 2007-style alert windows to their Windows applications.
To start off with, the component offers extensive control over the appearance with automatic hide or stay-on-screen options, programmable fade-in and fade-out effects, as well as with customizable glyphs for Close, Previous message, and Next message commands, in the case of multi-message alerts.
It's also worth highlighting that TAdvAlertWindow sports automatic theme color adaptation (however, only for Windows XP), that it's compatible with TMS TAdvFormStyler and TAdvAppStyle alike, as well as the fact that it comes with support for TMS mini HTML formatting.
The component can be installed in almost all versions of Delphi, RAD Studio, and C++Builder like 2007, 2009, 2010, XE, XE2, XE3, XE4, XE5, XE6, XE7, XE8, 10 Seattle, 10.1 Berlin, 10.2 Tokyo.
However, users should note that this is not a standalone component, yet it's included in the TMS System Controls Pack, a comprehensive bundle of development components for making system-level tasks as easy as possible.
In addition, it's also available in the TMS Component Pack, a more comprehensive bundle of development components. Users can are provided with two main licensing models for both bundles, namely a Single developer license and a Site license.
Both types of licenses provide users with full access to the source code, however, the latter allows access for an unlimited number of developers.
More information regarding the licensing models is available on the dedicated FAQ page on the official website.
