If you're a Windows developer currently working on projects which contain graphic viewing or editing features, you might like TAdvReflectionImage. It's a VCL component capable of generating reflections to pictures.
The reflection is displayed automatically and the effect has several configuration settings that you can tinker with. The current edition offers support only for JPEG, BMP, PNG and GIF graphic files. It also offers hints whose style resembles Microsoft Office.
If this module has piqued your interest, you should know that the tool cannot be downloaded or purchased separately. In fact, it's part of a bigger project dedicated to VCL components, called TMS Image Controls Pack. Single developer and site licenses for unlimited developers are available, which cover the full source code and allow you to use it for commercial purposes.
For example, the bundle contains a gauge with advanced settings, image support for representing indication levels, as well as adjustable color, width and opacity for gauge needles. Another module is solely designed to show GIF, WMF, ICO, PNG, JPEG, BMP and WMF photos - it doesn't require other dependencies and supports PNGs with alpha transparency.
The downloaded pack contains distinct files for each RAD Studio and Delphi version supported: Delphi 7 and RAD Studio (10.2 Tokyo Professional, Enterprise and Architect, 10.1 Berlin, 10 Seattle, XE8-XE, 2010, 2009, 2007). Furthermore, you can check out a demo with a few modules, which also has an overview page with representative photos.
