Components and libraries are packs of programming code ready to be used in the development to allow particular features. For instance, Viscomsoft .Net Image Viewer SDK contains the necessary bits of code to allow new applications to render various types of pictures and even edit them.
The package contains the necessary functions to be used when developing programs in VB .NET and C#. You find libraries for enabling EXIF handling, image effects, viewing capabilities, but also some extra ones like QR code reader and 1D barcode reader.
Supported image formats are BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, and multi-page TIFF files. Saving can also be implemented for these formats, which means the new application features conversion options for pictures.
General picture control options include zoom in and out, fitting the image to width or height, and rotation to any degree. Multi-page TIFF files can be saved with different compressions like LZW, JPEG, CCITT, FAX3, or no compression.
Apart from viewing, the set of functions also includes code elements to make image editing possible. It supports cropping parts of images through a selection rectangle, and to add effects like AntiNoise, blur, contrast, diffuse, desaturate, emboss, focalBW, gamma, median, monochrome, mosaic, noise, red, sharpen, and twirl.
In addition, the package contains codes which allow the application to read both QR and 1D barcodes. It can look up a barcode on an entire page or a specific area.
