WebClientPrint for ASP.NET MVC & WebForms is a development tool that provides data printing features to clients in Windows. The idea behind it is to eliminate the need for plugins. In addition to Windows, it can be installed on Linux, Mac and Raspberry Pi systems.
As the name suggests, the app is solely designed for ASP.NET MVC and WebForms software projects. It can be used to send raw data, including common text and native commands to printers installed on the client workstations. All of this happens stealthily because WebClientPrint for ASP.NET MVC & WebForms doesn't make its presence known with typical print dialog boxes that could easily distract you from work.
The downloaded package includes a tiny .NET assembly for .NET 3.5 and 4x, both x86 and x64 architecture types. It has an online demo on how to install the WebClientPrint processors as well as for testing the printing page using samples for printing raw commands and files, advanced PDF printing, and viewing printer information.
Additional samples can be downloaded for ASP.NET MVC 5 websites with C# and VB, and for ASP.NET WebForms sites. You can also view the source code online. Supported printers include PostScript, DOC, XLS, PDF, RFID, POS, PCL and EPL, among others. Adobe Reader is not required.
