Since the Internet attracted most computer users to its variety of activities, those behind the well-functioning of provided services need to keep information in secure environments. With this in mind, wodFTPServer comes with the components and libraries needed to implement server protocol in ActiveX projects.
Aiming a bit higher than the name suggests, supported protocols don’t only make it possible to include FTP servers, but also protocols like FTPS which engulfs FTP and SSL, and SFTP, being a secure FTP subsystem based on SSH2 channels. These last two protocols are fitted with higher security standards than the regular FTP type.
Needless to say that the deployment package contains all necessary resources for proper integration, but it also includes different sample files, used as a guide for integration, and quick setup of protocols of interest.
Components don’t interfere with any programming means. These include similar sets of events, sets of properties and methods, as well as the same control over users. Moreover, switching to a different type of protocol is done by modifying a single property value.
Integration doesn’t really depend on a specific programming language. Within the set of resources, there are components which can be used with C#, Delphi, VB, and VC, for more flexibility.
