ZylBurnerAX is an easy-to-use, straightforward component that provides developers with the possibility to enjoy CD / DVD / Blu-ray burning capabilities in Delphi and C++Builder. However, the tool does not work on its own, but it requires Nero Burning ROM for installation.
The component has been created specifically for those developers interested in taking advantage of fast CD / DVD writing capabilities directly from Delphi or C++Builder and comes with two different working modes, namely synchronous and asynchronous.
When in synchronous mode, all of the available operational functions (including Burn, Erase, Eject, or WriteImage) wait for the current operation to end, and then they return a value that shows whether the operation was successful or not.
When in asynchronous mode, however, the functions do not wait for the current operation to end, and the return value they display is always 0.
The component includes support for a board range of functions, including create, destroy, burn, erase, and WriteImage. Thus, users can burn CDs using the default recorder, can erase rewritable discs, and can also write CDs from image files.
